Surfing Heritage South Africa(SHSA) extends invitation to corporate South Africa and individuals, locally and internationally, to collaborate with us in
achieving our goal of establishing the Surfing Heritage Centre: Durban, a home for Surfing Heritage South Africa to continue out working the
preservation, promotion and presentation of our country's rich surfing history, culture and development. We invite you to explore the possibility and manner in which you and Surfing Heritage SA can collaborate on achieving that which is mutually beneficial and contribute to South African surfing
and that which is good for the city of Durban and it's visitors.
Presently SHSA is in collaboration with partners of the highest regard in their respective fields. The assistance with concept, design, architecture and overall strategy of the Surfing Heritage Centre, has been supplied by a collaborative effort comprising Barrows Design And Manufacturing; ITI(International Trend Institute); Haley Sharp SA and Design Workshop: SA. The South African surfing industry and
individuals from within the SA surfing community have generously supported Surfing Heritage since our beginning in June 2009.
Although Surfing Heritage is a non-profit company, The Surfing Heritage Centre will show sustainable revenue streams in order to become self-sustaining as well as profitable with regard to the Cutback Café and Heritage Retail opportunity. The services and benefits The Surfing Heritage Centre brings to Dairy Beach, the redeveloped Beachfront as a whole and the City itself make it a worthy opportunity. Our hope is that you embrace our vision and become partners in the endeavour by entering into discussion with us about how you can assist in establishing this great visitor attraction and social crossover place. Your collaboration will contribute to a greater Durban experience and growth of surfing as a sport, lifestyle and culture.
THE COLLABORATIVE GOAL
To generate significant revenue to underwrite Surfing Heritage South Africa's work and establish the Surfing Heritage Centre: Durban.
Surfing Heritage South Africa now provides opportunity to collaborate and is seeking support from the following sources:
Founder Patron or Patrons: We invite an individual patron or consortium patrons to underwrite the expenses of establishing the Surfing Heritage Centre: Durban.
Friends of Surfing Heritage SA: We invite individuals or companies to make R100, 000 donations or interest-free repayable loans to assist with establishing the Surfing Heritage Centre: Durban.
Corporate Sponsorship: We invite you to explore and establish a sound sponsorship contract that reaps reward for your company and assists us in achieving our goals. Our invitation is to Title Sponsorship of Surfing Heritage SA(and visitor centre); second tier sponsorships and program or event specific sponsorships.
Donations: We invite you to consider SHSA a worthy recipient of funding from corporate social responsibility and marketing budgets where various Surfing Heritage SA programs fall in line with your company's visions. We are also invite donations from individuals who see Surfing Heritage SA a worthy recipient of their benefacation.
Product sponsorships: We invite you to explore possibilities of assisting with eventing, fundraising and establishing of the visitor centre by donation of your company's products, therein producing reward to your company through association with us.
