By it's nature, the recording of history is an unending work in progress, ever evolving towards more accurate presentation of those events that fashioned today's expression of society. So it is with Surfing Heritage South Africa's presentation of our nations surfing history and explaination of how we got to where we are as a surfing people. This website initiates our process of preserving, presenting and promoting South Africa's rich surfing history, heritage and development for the appreciation and education of current and future generations.
