Surfing Heritage SA - Revenue generation
Surfing Heritage South Africa's model of revenue generation is essentially donor driven with additions of comercial streams that are supported by a creative fundraising oriented events program. The revenues generated by the Cutback Cafe and Heritage Retail within the Surfing Heritage Centre are supported by the following:
Corporate and private donations from the South African and international surfing community have already begun and are expected to steadily increase once Surfing Heritage SA opens the primary Surfing Heritage Centre: Durban.
Multiple tier corporate sponsorship program whereby selected South African companies align themselves with our ideology and receive marketing value from their association with us.
Surfing Heritage South Africa memberships will supply a constant and steady revenue stream where members receive benefits at the centre and from surfing retailers nationally who collaborate on our fundraising program. Members also gain the use of the pay-for-use ablutions at Dairy Beach together with locker and surfboard storage facilities.
The Surfing Heritage Academy will generate revenue from sales of instruction and train. The Heritage Surfing Academy's transformation and development programme will draw donations from corporate South Africa and other organizations who support South African sports
transformation.
Research Grants from institutions that value the preservation of cultural heritage will contribute to our revenue.
Fundraising Events: Well planned surfing community eventing with a revenue specific agenda works well in international models that we are collaborating with. We expect the same.
Venue hire of the Surfing Heritage Center which has been planned as a multi-functional space is expected to yield consistent revenue.
Product from Heritage Retail, our retail space at the Surfing Heritage Centre, will be mirrored to customers nationally and internationally in our online store at www.surfingheritage.co.za
